Background:
Culture is a tool for sustainable development, supporting economic sectors such as cultural tourism and the knowledge industry, which create decent job opportunities and contribute to revitalizing the local economy.
Objects:
Based on the fact that cultural associations have an important role in shaping the citizen by cultivating the spirit of initiative, volunteerism, creativity and innovation and urging him to contribute to public life, cultural activity and achieving cultural development. Members involved in cultural associations benefit from training in the field of administrative management and financial management. It also opens up areas for expressing opinions, defending positions, integrating into public life, and encouraging creativity and creation.
Accordingly, the Tanafud Association seeks to:
- Contributing to discovering and encouraging talents and energies in all cultural, youth and scientific fields and helping them integrate into the cultural scene.
- Working to support the revitalization of the cultural movement and contributing to its development process to advance it by organizing forums, festivals, and training.
- Seeking to consolidate the principles of social, cultural and civilizational cohesion and promoting the spirit of volunteerism and giving among individuals.
- Contributing to consolidating relations between components of civil society through effective partnerships.
- Working to support international cooperation to spread Tunisian culture in Arab and foreign countries through joint cultural and artistic activities.

Culture is everyone’s business…public and private institutions…and civil activities of all kinds. However, the public cultural institution remains the pivot and the orbit of cultural action. Therefore, the cultural institution must be a cultural space integrated into its surroundings and capable of contributing to economic development and intellectual and cognitive advancement.
From this standpoint, the Tanafodh aspires to contribute to making the cultural institution a leading, effective, and interactive institution in its vital field, as intended for it and as wanted by its pioneers, by achieving the goals upon which the association was founded and has, and in accordance with the recognized mechanisms in this field of partnership, cooperation, and support, in its project.
